With over 80 classes running 7 days a week, our small class sizes ensure that each dancer receives focused, specialist instruction from our talented and professional teaching team. My Story
After completing my professional career in ballet I knew I wanted to teach ballet. As our young dance school blooms I see the young potential talent that walks through the our dance studio doors, and it’s a pleasure to run a school, with my team of teachers, all the babies, children and adults that step foot here. With the popularity of our school has come awards where we have been voted for through Little Vikings Magazine for Best Dance Classes in York.
We worked very hard in designing our classes to be fun and creative as well as inspiring and structured.
I have had a wealth of experience in Ballet as I went through training in a vocational school called Elmhurst, then performed with the Birmingham Royal Ballet. I then qualified to be a teacher at the Royal Academy of Dance, gaining my Registered Teaching status. Following this, I have furthered my career and training through The Royal Ballet School, where I am both a teacher on their prestigious Associate Programme and Affiliate Training Assessment Programme (ATAP) Qualified.
I feel privileged to run my very own dance school, in this beautiful historic city of York. When I designed and opened En Pointe dance studios I wanted the very best for the students that came to En Pointe. We have a lovely wall of mirrors in both studios, custom made sprung floors and of course double ballet barres. I think what makes our school such a special place, along with the dedicated and hard-working dance teachers, students and parents that support it.
